Various scholars have claimed that Igede is a noun class language. A full study of the class system, however, has not been carried out and documented. This study focuses on the nature of the class system in the language by looking at the prefixal morphemes and their interactions with vowels of the roots, establishing the classes of nouns, and also focusing on the concord system.
