Farmers’ Perceived Impact of Climate Change on Agricultural Activities in Otukpo

This study looked at the perception of farmers from Otukpo local government area about the impact of climate change on their farming activities. 
 
Main perceived impacts were decrease in agricultural produce and loss of available land for farming to erosion. The methods adopted by the farmers to mitigate the effects were planting of cover crops like melon and groundnut as well as practising crop rotation.

The major perceived impacts of climate change on agricultural activities were decrease in agricultural production and decrease in area for cultivation as a result of erosion.
