Andrew Oche Odoh, Nigeria's number one golfer, believes that increased support from rich individuals and business organisations can help golf reclaim its proper place in the country.
In an interview with LEADERSHIP Sports, Odoh stated that people should not think of golf as a sport for the wealthy, as he does not come from a wealthy family. He defined golf as a game of chances, claiming that it can keep a lot of Nigerian thieves and youths off the streets. To grow the game in the country, he urged for all hands to be on desk.
